In addition to helping adults sustain an optimal weight, IMEC Fitness and Training Complex assists clients with chronic illnesses such as asthma, lupus, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and hypertension to improve their body composition and live a healthy lifestyle by exercising regularly, eating wisely and minimizing dependence on medication. 

Adult exercise programs include a fitness assessment. Experienced fitness professionals motivate persons looking to lose weight and increase their physical activity in a way that group exercise classes such as Zumba, Pilates, aerobics, aquatics, boot camps and other weekly workout programs do not.
